An exhibition of works of Azerbaijani artists was held at the residence of the Ambassador of the Delegation of European Union to Azerbaijan

In Baku, at the residence of the Ambassador of the Delegation of European Union to Azerbaijan, the opening of the exhibition “European Countries through the Eyes of Azerbaijani Artists”, organized with the support of the NGO “Arts Council Azerbaijan”, took place.

The event was attended by representatives of diplomatic missions and artists Eldar Babazade, Roya Hasanova, Maryam Kiblayeva, Leyla Orujeva, Nailya Aslanova, Sevda Rustamova, Ehtiram Rustamov, Samira Mukhtarova, Tarana Aliyeva, Nigar Aliyeva, Elshan Rzazade, Gunduz Khunlar, Afag Akbar, Nailya Maharramova , Aynura Mustafayeva, Aytan Abdullaeva, Aliya Asadullayeva and Malak Abbaszadeh, who created a unique atmosphere of creativity.

At the opening, the Head of the EU Delegation to Azerbaijan, Peter Michalko, expressed gratitude to all participants for their contribution to the success of this important cultural event and the expansion of cultural horizons, which strengthen ties between Europe and Azerbaijan.

The head of the Arts Council Azerbaijan, Dadash Mamedov, thanked the ambassador for creating such an opportunity and spoke about this collection. The participants were awarded with diplomas.

The exhibition became part of an initiative to popularize European cultural heritage in Azerbaijan.

The artists expressed their vision of European culture through works of art, representing a variety of points of view. Each work became a virtual journey, an acquaintance with European countries, their culture, traditions, historical and architectural monuments.
